Other ingredients
HPMC, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate and titanium dioxide.
Why is the capsule shell opaque?
Titanium dioxide is used only in the capsule shell, separate from the eye-nutrition formula. It gives the shell its opaque white appearance and helps limit light exposure to the formula.
Where else is it used? Titanium dioxide is also used as a white colorant in some cake icings, candy and other bakery products, as well as in some medicines and toothpaste. Formulations and permitted uses vary by country.
