The Clinical Research Behind Haro Clear

Formulated based on peer-reviewed research evaluating enzymes, antioxidants, and targeted micronutrients to support vitreous clarity and visual comfort.*

What we mean by “clinical research”

Clinical research, as referenced here, includes published, peer-reviewed human studies evaluating individual ingredients used in Haro Clear.

These studies examine measurable outcomes related to vitreous health, visual comfort, and ocular function over time — not marketing claims, testimonials, or anecdotal reports.

Haro Clear has not yet undergone a proprietary clinical trial as a finished product. Instead, its formulation is grounded in multiple clinical studies assessing key ingredients independently and in combination.

Backed by Science

Formulated using findings from peer-reviewed clinical studies

Peer-reviewed Journals

Evidence published in recognized scientific and medical journals

Human Clinical Studies

Research conducted with real participants, not lab-only models

Measurable Outcomes

Outcomes evaluated across weeks and months

Clinical Evidence by Ingredient Category

Published studies evaluating individual ingredients and nutrient combinations used in Haro Clear.

Mixed Fruit Enzymes and Vitreous Opacities

Clinical studies have evaluated bromelain and papain for their enzymatic activity in breaking down protein aggregates associated with vitreous floaters and vitreous hemorrhage–related opacities over time.

Targeted Micronutrients and Visual Comfort

Research evaluating combinations of vitamin C, zinc, grape extract, and bioflavonoids has reported improvements in visual discomfort and symptoms associated with vitreous degeneration over time.

AREDS2 Nutrients and Long-Term Ocular Health

Large-scale clinical trials have demonstrated the role of lutein and zeaxanthin in supporting retinal health and reducing oxidative stress associated with age-related ocular changes over time.
